Kindergarten - 5th Grade Connection

5th Grade students have been partnering with kindergartners to help the little ones learn their numbers Students from Mrs. Cardillo, Suratt and Brights/Richards' 5th grade classes have met regularly with students from Mrs. Jolly, Ketchum and VanCleave's kindergarten classes to help students who are struggling with counting and number recognition.  This partnership has developed leadership and mentoring skills in our 5th graders while helping the kindies improve their numeracy skills.

Two students from Brights/Richards' class have even made videos to help the kindies with counting.  Check them out!
