Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBiS) is a national program that addresses the behavioral and discipline systems needed for successful learning. There are more than 400 Colorado schools using the PBS system. Parents are encouraged to use the program in their home. The students are recognized by teachers, bus drivers and parents as part of the Positive Behavior Intervention Support initiative. With PBiS, teachers have more time to go over lessons with students and administrators spend less time dealing with behavioral issues.
